SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Go UseFortress.com from your mobile Device and click on the link to download the Fortress App from either the Apple App Store (if you have an iPhone or iPad) or Google Play Store.

2. Sing up as either a Parent (if you have a Child whom you want to supervise) or others. We require use of real names.
3. Accept push Notification so you can set allowed alerts when you set a text.
4. Log into the app using the username and password that you have created.
IF YOU CREATE A CHILD ACCOUNT, GO TO YOUR CHILD'S DEVICE:
1. Download the Fortress Kids app from your device App Store. if you have an iPhone or iPad, click here.
For Android device, click here.
2. Log into the app using the username and password that you have created.
Now you can start chatting with your child!
ADDING ANOTHER CHILD, A TEEN, OR A SECOND PARENT TO YOUR HOUSEHOLD
Household are for everyone in your immediate household. They will be automatically added to your Household chat which is always on top of your chat. it allows everyone in your household to easily chat with one another.
1. Click on Contacts - Household and then click on the And New button on top.

2.Select what tope of household member you want to and.
3. Teen and Second Parent will receive a text message to download the Fortress app and create their own logins. Though they are subaccounts, they are not monitored.
ADDING VILLAGERS (INCCLUDING GRANDPARENTS)
1. Click on Contacts - Villager and then click on the "And new" button on top.
2. Allow access to your Contacts, which standard practice for messaging apps.
3. If your new Contacts are already on Fortress, they will set a notification on their Fortress app. if they are not on Fortress already they will receive a text message to join.
4. Once they accept your request, you can go and give them permission to chat with you child accounts if you want. Note that if you allow them access to at least one of your child account, your Second Parent (if you have one) will be automatically connected to them on Fortress. This allows your second Parent to Edit their access to your child accounts at anytime.
Now you and if aplicable you children can start chatting with your villagers!
